Remembrance Sunday at Cenotaph in Lever Park Avenue, Horwich

On a blustery damp day, a two minutes silence was observed at 11-00am at the Monument to the fallen soldiers of the first world war outside the old railway works, then the procession wended its way through Horwich to the Cenotaph at Lever Park Avenue, where a short service was held and the laying of wreaths by the various organizations, a wreath was laid by the Mark Masons of Horwich, the parade then returned to the R.M.I. Club at the old rail works.
